Cemex Germany has completed the first phase of installing SaverOne’s Driver Distraction Prevention System in its heavy truck fleet.

The radio-frequency-based system detects mobile phones within the driver’s area and restricts access to distracting applications while permitting approved functions, including navigation and calls. The installation follows the deployment of the technology across Cemex Germany’s passenger-car fleet in 2025 and its use in Cemex truck fleets elsewhere in Europe.

SaverOne and Cemex intend to extend the system across the remainder of the German truck fleet and are considering further deployments in other Cemex markets. The companies did not disclose the number of trucks covered by the initial phase, its value or the timetable for completing the German rollout.
