Ningxia targets ultra-low emissions at 10 clinker lines by year-end

Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region has proposed requiring 10 cement clinker production lines operated by nine companies to complete full-process ultra-low-emissions upgrades by the end of December 2026.

The requirement is included in the region’s draft 2026-27 winter and spring air-pollution action plan and forms part of a broader programme to reduce industrial emissions.

Companies covered by the proposal include Ningxia Yinghai Tianchen Building Materials, Ningxia Kunshui Cement and Ningxia Shengjin Cement.
