India’s Nuvoco Vistas has agreed to source renewable electricity from a 46.4MW wind–solar hybrid project developed by CleanMax in Rajasthan.

Nuvoco will acquire a 26 per cent stake in the project company under a group captive arrangement. The installation will comprise 20MW of wind capacity, 26.4MW of solar capacity and a 2MWh battery energy storage system.

Expected annual generation is approximately 100GWh, with electricity supplied through Rajasthan’s open-access network.
