Pakistan’s cement exports declined slightly during July–August?2026, according to official trade data from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS). In the first two months of FY2026-27, exports stood at 1.73Mt, down 7.03 per cent from 1.86Mt in the same period last year. Export value fell to PKR19.0bn (US$68.34m) from PKR20.6bn in July–August?2025, reflecting a 7.83 per cent fall in rupee terms and 6.04 per cent in dollar terms.

Slower demand from key regional markets and logistical constraints affecting outbound shipments drove the decline. Despite the dip, cement remained one of Pakistan’s major export commodities, supported by steady orders from South Asian and African buyers.

Cement exports also declined modestly in August?2026, reflecting slower overseas demand and logistical constraints, according to official trade data.
