Peruvian cement producer Cementos Pacasmayo reported consolidated net profit of PEN121.4m (US$35.2m) for the quarter ended 30 September 2026, up 69.8 per cent from PEN71.5m a year earlier, as higher cement sales and improved operating margins boosted earnings.

Revenue rose 16.3 per cent to PEN667.4m from PEN574.1m, while operating profit increased 60.1 per cent to PEN194.2m from PEN121.3m. Consolidated EBITDA climbed 45.1 per cent to PEN233.1m, with the EBITDA margin reaching 34.9 per cent.
Combined sales volumes of cement, concrete and precast products increased 14.2 per cent, supported by stronger demand for bulk cement for smaller infrastructure projects and bagged cement for self-build housing. Higher average cement prices also contributed to revenue growth. Cement revenue alone rose 21.3 per cent to PEN571.6m.

Profitability benefited from lower electricity tariffs under a new long-term power contract and a reduction in the proportion of clinker used in cement. Gross profit increased 33.7 per cent to PEN299.4m, while the gross margin widened to 44.9 per cent from 39.0 per cent. Lower personnel costs also helped reduce administrative expenses.

The concrete, paving and mortar business returned to a gross profit of PEN13.0m from a PEN1.0m loss, despite revenue falling 19.7 per cent following the completion of deliveries to the Yanacocha, Motupe and Piura airport projects. Pacasmayo attributed the recovery to a focus on more profitable business and cost savings following the completion of the airport work.
