CIMPOR said successive investments in technology and process modernisation had enabled the works to remain operational through changes in the cement industry. Cevat Mert, CEO of CIMPOR Portugal and Cape Verde, said the recognition reflected the contribution of several generations of employees and the plant’s relationship with its surrounding community.
