Established in 1920 by Lucien MAGOTTEAUX, the company grew on the manufacture of special cast irons, and special steel grades for high wear-resistance. Progressively, over the last 30 years, due to the Company's commercial success, new production facilities and sales companies in 24 countries have been established, employing more than 3000 people. This enables MAGOTTEAUX to ensure a global coverage in order to meet, as quickly as possible, the needs of its worldwide customers.

MAGOTTEAUX's objective has always been to increase the cost-effectiveness of its customers' equipment. That's why we first analyse the operating equipment before recommending our high quality products which provide wear-resistance for all grinding and crushing applications; high temperature resistance, (particularly when the improvement of heat exchanges in kilns is concerned), preheaters and coolers.
Magotteaux has always been 'the' innovator in the metallurgy and heat-treatment of high-chromium grinding media. For over 40 years, SLEGTEN, a member of the Group, has been innovative in the grinding process field and has developed lifting and classifying liners. The company has also perfected a range of cast and fabricated diaphragms for ball mills. Magotteaux offers complete technical assistance and solutions for ball mills, vertical spindle mills, pyro-processing, hammer crushers, high efficiency separators, and mill control systems.
