Hazemag appoints new Vice President

Hazemag have appointed Erik Bach to the position of Vice President of Minerals Processing, effective as of 1 January 2017. Mr Bach has previously held positions at FLSmidth, where he was ranked in the top 100 of management. Mr Bach intends to focus on the technology leadership for established products, the consistent completion of the product portfolio and the expansion of the company’s markets.

HAZEMAG supplies Lehigh Cement (USA)

Lehigh Cement Company (Heidelbergcement Group) ordered a semi-mobile limestone crushing plant at HAZEMAG for its Union Bridge works, USA. The plant will process up to 2500tph of limestone with a feed size of up to 2000mm. The material is discharged by means of a HAZEMAG apron feeder HAF 25160 from a 400t feed hopper. Sinoma International Engineering Co Ltd has acquired a majority stake in German mining equipment firm Hazemag & EPR for US$137m. Beijing-based Sinoma bought the 59.09 per cent stake from the Schmidt Kranz Group through a share purchase agreement, according to a statement filed by Sinoma's parent company, the China National Materials Co Ltd.
