Synhelion has announced that the US Department of Energy awarded US$3.2m to Solar MEAD, a joint project headed by CEMEX, Sandia National Laboratories,and Synhelion, which aims to decarbonise cement production. Vulcan Materials has announced total revenue of US$7315m in 2022, up from US$5552m in the previous year. US production and consumption increased in 2022
