Cement prices in El Salvador rose by 18.5 per cent YoY to US$8.49 per 42.5kg bag in February 2013, according to CASALCO, the Salvadorian Chamber of the Construction Industry. Caribbean Cement Company, a member of the TCL Group, has announced price increases for a bag of cement. The company said effective January 7, the prices for its packaged Carib Plus will be increased by 15.4 per cent. There is also to be slight adjustments in the prices for other products.
