Turkey – Adana Cement to expand white cement milling

Adana Cement, part of Turkey’s OYAK Group, has placed an order with Loesche for a vertical roller mill to expand its white cement milling capacity by 200tph. The LM 46.4 mill has a transmission power of 2750kW and grinds material to a fineness of eight per cent R90 μm. The mill is expected to become operational in 4Q16. Adana Cement has an installed capacity of over 4Mta and produces both white and grey cement for export to Europe and Asia.

Turkey: Aumund to supply Çimsa Cimento

The Turkish Çimsa Cimento ordered 24 Aumund machines for the mill at Çimsa, including 18 deep drawn pan conveyors, five bucket elevators with central chain and a pivoting pan conveyor. FCT awarded new contract in Turkey

Baticim Bati Anadolu CImento Sanayii has placed an order with FCT Combustion for a burning system firing petcoke, fuel oil and alternative solid fuels at the Turkish cement producers plant in Izmir. FCT's presence in Turkey dates back to 1999 with the local manufacturing of its burners by a certified manufacturing partner in Istanbul.

Sabanci net profit up 7.6% in 2015

Turkish conglomerate Sabanci Holding posted a net profit of TRL2.236bn (US$750m) in 2015, up 7.6 per cent from a year earlier, it said in a filing to the Istanbul stock exchange on Monday. The holding's sales rose 10 per cent to TRL30bn in the same period. Tianjin Cement Industry Design & Research Institute (TCIDRI) has placed an order for a Loesche LM 48.4 vertical roller mill (VRM) for the 'Sivas 2 RM' project by Votorantim Cimento Sanayi ve Ticaret AS in Turkey.
