Lafarge Zambia is constructing the first cement depot in Chipata District in Eastern Province, valued at US$700,000. The depot will have a cement storage capacity of 3000t. Dangote is expected to commission its new cement factory in Ndola in July this year, senior general manager for Dangote Projects, Anand Kameshwar, has indicated.
