JSW Cement plans to start two greenfield grinding units each in West Bengal and Tamil Nadu, India, with potential locations currently being identified. Biberci Insaat has ordered a Loesche LM 56.3+3 clinker grinding VRM for a new cement plant in Konya, in the central Anatolia region of Turkey. India-based Ramco Cements reported a 274 per cent rise in 4QFY14-15 net profit to INR934.2m (US$14.6m) on better cost management and stable cement prices. Burnpur Cement has commenced the trial production from its new grinding unit at Patratu in state of Jharkhand, India, on 23 May 2015. Fully-fledged production will start next month. Chengdu Design & Research Institute of Bldg Materials Industry Co Ltd, headquartered in China, placed an order with Gebr Pfeiffer SE for the supply of an MPS 3070 BC cement mill for Readymix in Saudi Arabia. The mill with an installed drive power of 1100kW will grind 30tph of granulated blastfurnace slag and 46tph of OPC to a fineness of 4000cm²/g and 3600cm²/g, respectively. CMS grinding unit on track for 2016 commissioning

A new grinding plant by the CMS Group is progressing well with trial production scheduled for the end of 2015, according to the group's managing director.
