Shree Cement has commissioned a 2Mta grinding plant called the 'New Bihar cement plant', which is located at Aurangabad in the state of Bihar, India. The company has recently commissioned its Bangur cement grinding unit. The new plant has capacity of 3.6Mta and is located at Village Rohi Udaipur Udasar, Sriganganagar district, Rajasthan. Currently, Shree Cement's manufacturing operations are located in six north and eastern India states.

Ministry of Commerce: Cambodia will not ban cement imports

Shree Cement has commissioned a new grinding unit in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan. The new facility has a capacity of 3.6Mta. In the 3Q17 the company reported a net profit increase of 41.6 per cent YoY to INR3.33bn (US$52.1m) and 23.1 per cent growth in net sales to INR22.96bn.

Kenya’s President Uhuru Kenyatta inaugurated a new cement clinker plant on 7 February. National Cement Co invested US$280m in the 1.2Mta clinker plant as well as a 15MW power plant, located between Merrueshi and Mbirikani, Kajiado County, south of Kenya’s capital, Nairobi. Chip Mong Insee Cement Corporation has inaugurated its 2Mta plant in Kampot province, reports Reuters. Last Thursday’s ceremony was led by Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen. The facility was set up to meet the rising demand from the country’s construction sector, according to Hun Sen. Cemex Latam Holding has confirmed that it is solving the legal issues that prevent the opening of its new plant in Maceo, Antioquía, Colombia.
