Aalborg Portland reduces its CO2 emissions by more than 0.5Mta in 2 years

Aalborg Portland reported a reduction in its CO 2 emissions by 274,512t in 2023, representing a 13.9 per cent decrease compared to 2022, when 1,981,749t of CO 2 were emitted. TPI Polene Power targets 100% renewable fuel use by 2026

Thailand’s largest waste-to-energy (WTE) project developer and operator TPI Polene Power (TPIPP) aims to cut coal usage as it strives for 100 per cent renewable fuel use by 2026. CEMEX Colombia will source 42,865MWh of electricity per year for its Caracolita plant in Colima from Celsia's new 19.9MWac solar farm in Ibague upon commissioning of the new solar farm. CEMEX Croatia has been awarded EUR5m (US$5.5m) in contracts for the construction of three solar power plants, co-funded by The Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund and the EU Modernisation Fund. Taiwan Cement Group has commissioned a 311MWh battery at its HePing plant in Hualien County, Taiwan.
