Re: Enthalpy of preheater & cooler exhaust gas

Hello Mr.DAmit,

This is with my practical observation that for every 10 deg C Increase in temperature will lead to loss of 4 kCal/kg.

For example,

If Pre Heater exit temperature is 320 deg C,then Heat loss/enthalpy is (320/10)*4=128 kCal/kg and similar technique can be handled for cooler vent gas.I Hope that it will be approximately equal to the calculated value during the heat balance.

 with Best Regards,

Mohan
