Ukraine production down 0.4% YoY
Cement production in Ukraine fell 0.4% last year compared with 2009, to 9.5Mt.
Ukrcement Executive Director Petro Lopatyev forecasted earlier that Ukrainian cement factories will be able to produce 10Mt of cement in 2011, which will be 11% up on the forecast for 2010 (9Mt). He also admitted next year’s forecast might change after the adoption of the national budget for 2011 and the Tax Code.
