Murli board okays sale of plant, India
India’s Murli Industries Ltd Friday said its board has approved the sale of its cement plant in the western Maharashtra state.
The plant began operations in March and has a capacity of 3Mta.
On November 22, Murli Industries, responding to a news report, said it was in preliminary talks with overseas cement companies to sell the plant in Chandrapur.
The Economic Times newspaper reported that Cemex has offered US$550m to acquire the Chandrapur facility. Published under Cement News
