Fauji Cement Company establishes RDF plant, Pakistan

Fauji Cement Company of Pakistan has installed a Refused Derived Fuel plant at a cost of PKR310 to process waste and generate fuel as part of an effort to lower greenhouse gases.

The company adopted an effective strategy to reduce environmental pollution in adjacent residential colonies of the factory set up in village Balote of Tehsil Fateh Jang.

Fauji Cement has established several steps for welfare of people of the local area to keep them
away from environmental hazards.

According to a press release, a company spokesman said  the company’s tree plantation drive in the area is almost in final stages in which more than 30,000 saplings would be planted.

Besides, other facilities like model school and free dispensary have been provided in adjoining residential areas for the well-being of the workers’ families and local population.。
