Indonesia: Central Java Governor will approve new plant

Despite residents being against the construction of a cement plant in Pati, Central Java Governor Bibit Waluyo will still approve the Gresik Cement project.

“This project must continue,” he said.

Bibit argued that withan investment value of Rp3 trillion, the project can bring a better standard of living for people in Central Java as well as job opportunities for more than 1,000 people.
