CNBM Signs Cooperation Agreement with Jiangxi Province
Song Zhiping, Chairman of the Board of China National Building Material Group Corporation, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Hong Lihe, Deputy Governor of Jiangxi Province, on August 23rd, according to information released by the State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission on October 29th. Based on the agreement, the two parties will focus on the integration of Jiangxi Province’s cement industry, as well as the expansion and strengthening of the industry through joint ventures, cooperation, new construction, acquisition and reorganization, in a bid to upgrade the new-type cement clinker production capacity of Jiangxi Nanfang Wannianqing Cement Co., Ltd. to 30mt by 2010. Furthermore, the two parties will jointly seek opportunities in the future to expand the scope of their cooperation on cement, new-type building materials, composite materials and new technological development.
