LSR Group unit to build cement works, Russia
A subsidiary of Russia’s LSR Group, Tsement, plans to build a EUR160m euro cement plant in the Leningrad Region by 2009, the press service of the region’s government said Wednesday.
The plant will produce 1-2Mta of cement, Nikolai Knyazev, senior engineer of Tsement, said.
A commission of the regional government has approved the construction of the cement plant, the press service said.
Austria’s Asamer and Hufnagl Holding GmbH will be Tsement’s consultant for the construction.
LSR Group is one of the largest construction companies in the Northwest Federal District. The group comprises 30 construction companies and specializes in construction, production of construction materials, and property development. Published under Cement News
