A decision to set up a panel with representatives from trade and industry was taken after a group of businessmen and company officials met the Minister of Economy and Commerce, H E Sheikh Mohamed bin Ahmed Al Thani to discuss the cement crisis here yesterday.

Present was Salem Butti Al Nuaimi, chairman of the board of directors of Qatar National Cement Company (QNCC), the larger of the two cement producers in the country.
