GeoLogistics Corp, a leading transportation and logistics company, based in California, has been officially selected as the single-source global logistics service provider for Cemex. The new 3-year contract between Cemex and GeoLogistics includes purchase order and freight management services from Cemex suppliers in 70 countries and shipping to Cemex plants in 30 destination countries throughout the world.  "GeoLogistics has demonstrated its ability and commitment to invest in people, technology and innovation to meet our future logistics requirements, with significant annual cost savings," said Francisco Cue, senior VP procurement at Cemex.

To manage Cemex’s complex supply chain, GeoLogistics has designed a unique network of four regional logistics hubs, one each in Miami, Monterrey, Madrid, Spain, and Manila, Philippines. These hubs coincide with the geographic needs of Cemex.  In addition to managing Cemex’s global logistics, GeoLogistics will also handle a large expansion Project Cargo operation for Cemex in the Dominican Republic over the next two years.
