About 1.3Mt of cement per year is the quantity that the New Cimangola will produce with the functioning, from April 2005, of a new mill of cement and the changing of the discharging-berth, for importing of cement.

New Cimangola’s deputy director, Manuel Victor, made this statement to the press on Friday at end of a visit to the company, of a multsectorial delegation, headed by the ministers of Industry, Joaquim David, and Energy and Water, Botelho de Vasconcelos.

The new mill, named number Five is the first stage of the enterprise’s development programme for the construction of a new production line, known as Klin Four project.  The new mill will produce about 120tph of cement and is projected with the latest technology system using a process of milling industry in closed circuit and it will produce more than the double of the actual output.
