Semen Indonesia sees robust sales rise

Semen Indonesia has announced that its sales increased to 18.5Mt in the first nine months of the year, 15.6 per cent higher than the same period of last year including a notable rise in exports.

Most sales derived from holding company Semen Indonesia (9.5Mt), followed by its subsidiaries Semen Padang (5Mt) and Semen Tonasa (3.95Mt). Sales increased by 17.5, 6.6 and 24.2 per cent respectively compared to the January-September period of 2012.

Semen Indonesia exported as many as 268,200t, up a significant 485 per cent compared to last year’s 45,940t.?? Semen Tonasa exported the most cement at a 437.6 per cent increase to 226,37t, compared to last year’s 42,000t in the nine month period.
