Attock Cement orders second IKN Pendulum cooler

The management of Attock Cement Pakistan Ltd and IKN GmbH agreed a deal for the supply of another latest generation IKN Pendulum Cooler. The cooler with a capacity of 4000tpd will be supplied for Attock's new Line 3. This agreement follows shortly after the order for a new IKN static inlet (KIDS) for Line 1. Both orders show the confidence and trust that Attock Cement has put in IKN based on the experience with the IKN Pendulum Cooler in kiln Line 2 which has been in operation since 2006.

IKN wins contract for pyroline in Germany

In August 2015, IKN was awarded the contract for the engineering, supply and installation of a complete 4000tpd pyroline – from raw meal feeding to clinker discharge – at HeidelbergCement's Burglengenfeld plant in Germany. Holcim (Argentina) SA has placed an order for a state-of-the-art IKN Pendulum Cooler® with a grate area of 61m² and latest Coanda Wing® technology, designed to replace the existing drum cooler at Puesto Viejo, Argentina. Germany-based companies GMK GmbH and IKN GmbH have entered into an exclusive partnership to develop and market waste heat recovery systems for the cement industry.
