Macedonia: Usje's unconsolidated net profit falls

Macedonia's sole cement producer Usje said on Tuesday its unconsolidated net profit fell five per cent to MKD1.46bn (EUR23.7m) in 2014. Operating revenue rose two per cent to MKD4.12bn last year, while operating costs were two per cent lower at MKD2.56bn, Usje said in an unconsolidated financial statement filed with the Macedonian Stock Exchange. Usje is owned by Greek building materials manufacturer Titan Cement.

Macedonian producer Cementarnica Usje AD Skopje said on Tuesday its consolidated net profit rose 28 per cent to MKD789.2m (EUR12.8m) in the first half of 2014. Operating revenue rose by 15 per cent to MKD2bn in the six months to the end of June while operating costs increased five per cent to MKD1.3bn, Usje said in a consolidated financial statement. Macedonian producer Cementarnica Usje Skopje said on Wednesday its net profit more than doubled to MKD301.4m (US$6.7m) in the first quarter of 2014 from MKD140.6m a year ago. Macedonia’s sole cement producer, Cementarnica Usje Skopje, reported that non-consolidated net profit rose 12 per cent to MKD1.48bn (EUR24m) in 2013. Macedonia’s sole cement producer Cementarnica Usje said its consolidated net profit fell to MKD1.32bn (EUR21.4m) in 2012 from MKD1.92bn a year earlier.
