Two new calciners have been designed and delivered by A TEC to Cementir's Aalborg Portland cement plant at Rørdal during the annual kiln stop in February/March 2017. Lafarge Cement Jordan's Rashadiya cement works is to reduce production costs by generating some of its electricity by solar power. Caribbean Cement has ordered a new 700tph full-portal reclaimer for limestone with a railspan of 42m for its Rockfort plant in Jamaica. The order follows a long-standing project, which was initially considering the conversion of existing equipment. Yamana Cement Company have awarded Wärtsilä an EPC contract for the supply of a 161MW Flexicycle power plant.
