The pressure differential of a traditional vertical roller mill (VRM) system for raw meal grinding is high, with the fan accounting for about 45 per cent of power consumption. Meghna Cement Mills Ltd says that its expansion project is likely to complete in the mid-2019. The company signed a contract with FLSmidth in 2017 to import equipment for installing a second vertical roller mill (VRM) to increase its capacity to 2Mta at the cement producer's Mongla plant in Bangladesh. Loesche is delivering two vertical roller mills (VRMs) to Guangdong Tapai Co Ltd for its two 10,000tpd clinker lines in Jiaoling, Meizhou, Guangdong province, China. The two LM35.3 D mills are a repeat order of that received by the company in 2015. The mils will grind pulverised coal at 50tph to a fineness of three per cent with a sieving residue of 0.08mm. Ghorahi Cement Industry Pvt Ltd has contracted Gebr Pfeiffer to supply an MVR vertical roller mill (VRM) and a MPS VRM for coal grinding.
