India’s RCC Cements Ltd has appointed Shimpy Goyal as company secretary and compliance officer, effective from 25 August 2022. Ms Goyal succeeds Ms Bhawna Arora who resigned from the position on 18 August 2022.

Saudi-Arabian cement producer Najran Cement Co has appointed Waleed Bin Abdulrahman Al-Mousa as chairman of the company’s board of directors. Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Rajhi has been appointed as vice chairman of the board.

Al Jouf Cement appoints new CEO

Saudi Arabia-based Al Jouf Cement has appointed Abdul Karim Al-Nuhair as CEO, effective from 21 August 2022. Mr Al-Nahair replaces Jamal bin Salem Al-Amer who resigned as CEO on 16 August 2022 but will continue as the company’s president ex-executive advisor, according to Arab News. Prior to joining Al Jouf Cement, Mr Al-Nuhair held a number of leadership roles in joint-stock companies.

Andrew Keating, previously director of group finance at CRH, has left the company. The former Bank of Ireland chief financial officer joined the building materials company three years ago, reporting to Jim Mintern. Mr Keating reportedly left CRH at the end of June this year to pursue other opportunities, reports The Irish Times. 

Dewan Cement appoints new CEO and director

Pakistani cement producer Dewan Cement Ltd informed Pakistan Stock Exchange that Ishtiaq Ahmed and Waseem-ul-Haque Ansari have been appointed as CEO and director of the company, respectively. The appointments are effective of 15 July 2022 and replace Malik Bilal Omar.

Boral has named Vik Bansal as its new chief executive officer (CEO) effective from December 2022.
