Pakistan’s cement export revenue for the first 10 months of the current fiscal observed a YoY growth of 30.9 per cent and 52.3 per cent in terms of dollar value and quantity, respectively, according to Pakistan's Bureau of Statistics (PBS). Vietnamese exports rise 15% in February

Vietnamese exports have risen 15.2 per cent in volume and 36.3 per cent in value for February 2019, rising to around 2.5Mt and US$105m, respectively. The average export price has increased 18.3 per cent YoY to US$42/t, according to the country’s Foreign Trade Agency. Qatar National Cement signs deal to expand export operations

Qatar National Cement (QNC) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Qatar Primary Materials, which will allow the company to expand its cement export operations. The deal will see the cement company use Qatar Primary Materials’ facilities, silos and platforms to export cement and clinker, according to a statement posted to the country’s stock exchange. 

Iranian province records export increase

Iran’s southern province of Hormozgan reported a 40 per cent increase in clinker and cement exports to 400,000t during the eight-month period between 21 March-21 November 2018, according to Masoumeh Mousavi of the country’s Mine and Trade Department. Vietnam exports rise 30% for the first 11 months of 2017

Vietnam exported 17.48Mta of cement and clinker worth US$613.3m in the first 11 months of this year, according to Vietnam News. This represents a 30.4 per cent increase in volume and a 20.2 per cent rise in value from the year-ago period. Iran has exported cement to the value US$233m in the first seven months of the current financial year (started 20 March 2017). In terms of volumes, 7.1Mt of cement were exported to some 34 countries during this period. For the first nine months of 2017, cement consumption in Indonesia rose 6.6 per cent to 47.432Mt from 45.504Mt, according to the Indonesian Cement Association (ASI). The data reflects sales by ASI members only.
