Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari said all new highway projects supported by National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) will use cement concrete. Tasek Corp Bhd reported a 20.78 per cent rise in revenue for the second quarter, driven by higher demand for cement in its domestic market of Malaysia. Cement sales in the Philippines rose 3.2 per cent in the second quarter of this year, underpinned by public works projects and private sector construction activity.
