Mills made in China
For more than 30 years, China-based Sinoma Technology & Equipment Group Co Ltd (Sinoma-tec) has carried out research into roller mill technology and has developed a range of vertical roller mills for grinding cement raw meal, coal, cement, slag and other types of materials. To date, the company has successfully commissioned more than 340 TRM vertical roller mills in China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Brazil and India.

In its two roller mill test systems, Sinoma-tec carries out grindability and corrosion tests on raw material samples from more than 200 factories around the world. The company has also built a computer simulation laboratory for the CFD calculations and finite element analysis to optimise the roller mill design. As a result, in the past 10 years, significant progress has been made to the TRM vertical roller mills in terms of technical improvement, operational reliability and increasingly large sizes.
