FLSmidth has successfully completed two vertical roller mill (VRM) projects in Bangladesh. The two mills were ordered by Premier Cement Mills Ltd. The FLSmidth OK 71-6 cement mill   has been installed at the Dhaka (Munshigonj) plant, with a finish grinding capacity of 460tph. Lafarge Cement Zimbabwe (Holcim group) plans to double its cement milling capacity upon completion of the installation of a new vertical roller mill (VRM) in 2022. Palpa Cement Industries Pvt Ltd in Nepal has ordered a MVR vertical mill from Germany-based mill specialist Gebr Pfeiffer for its plant in Sunwal, Nawalparasi district. The MVR 3350 C-4 mill has a drive power of 2150kW is designed to grind 130tph of cement at 3000 Blaine and 100tph of blastfurnace cement at 3800 Blaine. The order is the fourth vertical mill supplied by Gebr Pfeiffer in Nepal in the last year. Commissioning of the mill is planned for mid-2019.
