Hanson Cement seeks early approval for mill installation

Hanson Cement (HeildebergCement group) could start work this year on a GBP20m investment in a new giant mill that will secure nearly 100 jobs, reports Daily Post. The company is upgrading its Padeswood cement plant in Flintshire to guarantee its long-term future of the plant. Eagle Cement orders Loesche coal mill

Eagle Cement Corp of the Philippines has ordered a Loesche vertical roller mill for its plant in Barangay in San Ildefonso, 50km north of the capital city of Manila. The coal mill for line 3 is designed for grinding 54tph of mixed coal or 34tph of petcoke. The scope of supply also includes an LSKS classifier and corresponding filters, blowers, an inertisation unit, the gas analysis and the main drives. All components are to be delivered before the end of the 2017.

One of Colombia’s most recent additions to its cement production base, Cementos San Marcos, has ordered its second Loesche mill for its plant located in Yumbo, some 20km north of Cali. Egypt: Helwan Cement Company orders Gebr Pfeiffer mill

The Helwan Cement Company, an Italcementi subsidiary, has ordered a new Gebr Pfeiffer coal mill for its cement works. Delivery of the mill will start as early as the end of 2016. The MPS 3350 BK vertical roller mill has an installed gearbox power of 1050kW and is designed to grind 80tph of coal to a product fineness of 12 per cent residue on 90µm and 60tph of petcoke to a product fineness of six per cent residue on 90µm.
