Around 18 months ago the moderator was involved as a cement industry expert in a “deep-dive” benchmarking project on behalf of a supplier/service provider to the industry. The details of that particular assignment must remain confidential. However, the technique of deep-dive benchmarking is certainly an interesting approach to business performance improvement. This month’s Technical Forum will discuss how it could be applied to a cement manufacturing company.
