In general what is the average alumina percentage in the refractories used in preheater, calciner, different zones in the kiln, hood and in different locations in the cooler?

Re: alumina content in refractories
Dogra,
In general 25% in preheater, precalciner and calcining zone. Rising to 65% in the upper transition zone. In general the burning zone would be lined with magnesia based refractories. Then the outlet zone and nose ring may be lined with high alumina refractories for abrasion resistance. In the cooler high alumina refractories might be used for the same reason.
Best regards
