Ignition temperature

Is there any equipment available for determination of ignition temperature of various fossil and alternative fuels?

Re: Ignition temperature

Sure, use the new PiT Indicator SideView.

Plum size, position and length is decisive for clinker quality. Measuring the diameter and ignition point becomes possible through positioning of a thermographic camera at the kiln hood side. Comparisons with quality criteria through sophisticated software deliver new information in time to improve process and clinker  quality.

More than 10 companies - reaching alternative fuels of 80% and higher at the main burner - are already using the new SideThermography reaching an increased stability of clinker quality. Please have a look on the homepage of www.powitec.de or drop me a mail alexander.hanf@powitec.de and I will send you a respective article.

Best regards

Alex
