Tangential blending silo.

Dear Experts!

We use Polysius’s tangential blending silo with homogeneity is only 1:4.

Rawmeal is extracted to mixing bin through 10 airslides. Above every airslide, there is a duct which I see some documents called “dedusting of pressure relief roofs”.

Some other Polysius cement plants, there are same homosilo without that duct.

So, I want to ask what their effect. Can I adjust handle valve on duct to increase homogeneity?
