Finnish steel company Rautaruukki is to supply a total of 4100t of steel structures for Akmenes Cementas’ new cement plant in Lithuania. The order values at approximately EUR5.9m. The order was placed by construction company Penevezio Statybos Trestas.

The installation will begin in October 2011, and the plant is to be completed in the summer of 2012. The steel structures will be manufactured in Lithuania and Romania.
