Domestic cement sales fell by 12% to 6.85Mt, while exports rose threefold to 9800t, Ziarul Financiar reported.
The negative trend was influenced by a stagnation in the constructions sector, a sharp fall in purchasing power and a slowdown in lending activity, the daily quoted Cirom’s director gjeneral Ion Crangasu as saying.
