The construction of a cement plant in Tashkumyr (Jalalabad), financed by Chinese investors, will start in February 2006. Local construction workers and specialists will be employed and 500 jobs will be created. As specialists state, there are sufficient raw materials for cement production to continue for 200 years, - said Tashkumyr Mayor Shamsharbek Choibekov.
