Cypriot cement maker Vassiliko Cement Works has signed a contract with Interbulk Trading SA, a subsidiary of French cement maker Ciments Francais, for cement sales in 2005, the company announced on May 16, 2005.  Under the contract, Interbulk Trading will buy the quantities of Vassiliko cement which the company fails to sell on the Cypriot market in 2005. The cement will be sold in Italy and Spain where cement consumption has increased over the past years.  The total value of the contract is seen at 2.7 mln Cyprus pounds (Euro 4.7m).
