ACC October cement despatches up

Associated Cement Companies (ACC) has reported a 13.8per cent increase in cement despatches for October 2004 at 1.402Mt as compared to 1.232Mt in October 2003. According to a release issued to the BSE today, cumulative despatches from April-October 2004 was up 7.2 per cent at 9.388 MT as compared to 8.754Mt an year ago.

Production was up 10 per cent at 1.394Mt as compared to 1.232Mt, an year ago while the cumulative production was up 6.7 per cent at 9.381Mt as compared to 8.789Mt an year ago.
