Polysius commissions two 10,000-tpd kiln lines in China

Krupp Polysius has just commissioned the second kiln line for Anhui Conch, in Xuzhou, Jiangsu province, making the completion of the two 10,000tpd Polysius kiln completions for China’s largest cement producer in just four months.

The speed of completion of this order has been very noteworthy. Whereas for the first kiln line was erected in Wuhu in just 24 months between contract award and commissioning, the excellent teamwork between the contractual parties made it possible to reduce this to only 21 months for kiln line II.

The core components of the respective delivery scope comprised a 2-string and 5-stage DOPOL® ’90 preheater including a PREPOL® MSC calciner as well as a rotary kiln (6 m in Ø, 90 m in length).
