Afghanistan is preparing to invest in its cement industry by completing two cement plants. The Afghan Ministry of Mines and Petroleum has reported that progress has been made in discussions on major investment projects worth US$350m.
The projects include investment in second phase of Jabal Siraj cement factory (US$170m) and Samangan cement factory (US$136m).
