Holcim is authorised to extend Mormont quarry

Holcim Switzerland has heard that the decision of the Federal Tribunal is to authorise the Birette extension of the Mormont quarry.

This decision guarantees the long-term supply of local and sustainable building materials for its construction and infrastructure projects in French-speaking Switzerland. For the first time, federal judges have recognised the national importance of cement supply and recognised the special importance of Holcim's query, which is now considered to be of national interest.
