Cement dispatches in Peru increased by 11.16 per cent YoY to 1.31Mt in September 2026, according to the country’s cement producers’ association, ASOCEM.

Domestic cement production rose by 10.68 per cent to 1.166Mt, while clinker output increased by 33.36 per cent to 891,000t.

Cement imports surged by 470.79 per cent to 71,932t, with Vietnam supplying the majority. The port of Chancay handled 82.01 per cent of imported cement.

Exports declined, with cement shipments falling by 16.94 per cent YoY to 8665t and clinker exports dropping by 48.79 per cent to 36,083t.
