Pakistan's cement dispatches in August 2016 stood at 3.585Mt, 16.75 per cent higher than dispatches of 3.071Mt recorded during the same month of previous fiscal year, according to the data released by the All Pakistan Cement Manufacturers Association (APCMA). During first 10 months of the current FY15-16, the Pakistan cement industry exported 5.05Mt of cement and earned export revenue of US$274.34m compared to 6.64Mt at US$382.39m in July 2014-April 2015. Pakistan’s cement exports fell during 9MFY2016 on a YoY basis dropping by 24.4 per cent in volume terms and 28.9 per cent in US dollar values.
